CAREER
He started cycling at around the age of seven with the youth categories of the Velo Club Empoli. His younger brother Lorenzo is also a cyclist. After competing in the Beginners and Youth categories with San Miniato Ciclismo, and later as a Junior with G.S. Stabbia, in 2018 he moved up to the Under-23 category with Mastromarco Sensi Nibali, managed by Gabriele Balducci. He raced for the Pistoia-based team for five years — four as an Under-23 rider and one as an Elite — claiming three victories. In 2023, he turned professional with Green Project-BardianiCSF-Faizanè, after already riding for the team twice as a trainee at the end of 2021 and 2022. In his first professional season, he was selected to compete in the Giro d'Italia.
